London Muslim's trouble with racists...

The Islamic blog, London Muslim, has been host for a while now to a vitriolic anti-Semitic racist commenter who calls himself Mr Black. Those of us poor atheists who value people’s rights and freedoms above the dictates of some ancient, violent, racist, misogynistic, homophobic, mythological construct of desert dwelling tribes, find the whole my God is better than your God thing a complete mystery – but even by religion’s standards the Islamic obsession with Jews is beyond the pale. I have posted elsewhere on how Islam is inherently antisemitic and seems to foster in many of its adherents a searing hatred of Jews, Judaism and thus modern-day Israel. This racist bigotry is, of course, all but ignored by an establishment hell-bent on pandering to an ever-growing Muslim electorate/market.

London Muslim's obsession with the "Israelites" is a case in point. His readers all know that by "Israelites" he means Jews. But by using the term he can pretend he is making a political point as opposed to inciting distrust and hatred in the age-old fashion of all antisemites. LM is careful (usually) to avoid blatant references to Jews but he reads, approves (posts must be approved by LM before being published) and allows to be posted such virulent, hate-filled comments as would have warmed the hearts of the Eichmann et al.  Here are some choice comments by Mr Black which apparently London Muslim approved for publication:
Any wonder why jews have a history of getting kicked out of one nation after another. "Monotheistic" religion my ass. Judasim is more like a criminal cult masquerading as a religion hellbent on drowning the world in economic, political and military slavery.Hypocritical lying murderous parasites the lot of them.
NEVER trust a white beast, EVER. Lock and load!
Zionism is incompatible with humanity which is why it and it's (sic) practitioners must be exterminated. Zionist kikes deserve nothing less.

There's plenty more of the same but you get the gist.
Not once has LM seen fit to distance himself from these comments.

Update: Even LM's Muslim readers are expressing concern over the vile antisemitism expressed in the comments section:
JasmineApr 28, 2012 05:10 AM @LM - LM, I'm going to file a complaint here. Please take some steps to restrict Mr Black and disallow the spouting of such vicious hatred and baiting. I am not happy for this kind of character to speak on behalf on "the muslims" . I am a Muslim and I find his conduct disgusting: I do not wish to be associated and I am unhappy that his voice & views are dominating this webspace and taking away the attention from valid points that you are raising and turning this all into some kind of mud-slinging, rage-enhancing, argument. The man is openly antagonistic, racist and is even using swearwords. As your blog is now drawing the attention of the press and you are being featured in news articles etc - I think the one thing you really don't need for your profile is any sign that you are happy to tolerate this kind of speech on your blog.
How does Lm respond to the concerns of his readers? By appealing to their liberal consciences and quoting Voltaire...
LMApr 28, 2012 11:56 AM Voltaire I think it was who said I may not agree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it. The moment you start to censor you end up on a slippery slope. Either you believe in freedom of speech or you don't which is why I have allowed disgusting hate filled comments about Muslims and Islam not because I agree with them but because it is a perfect illustration of the extremism that exists among all people of faith or no faith and all skin colours. Criminality and incitement of course is the one caveat where this blog will aim to draw the line which has happened on a number of occassion's including reluctantly closing down threads.

Mohammad foretold in the Bible...again. Is Jesse really Ishmael?

Ishmael and Haggar                            Jesse, father of King David

As I have explained in previous posts, Muslims believe that Mohammad is prophesied in the Bible because the Qur'an tells them so. This has led to all sorts of imaginative interpretations of various verses in an attempt to find that elusive prophesy.
Recently my Muslim friend directed me to a verse in Isiah (11 1-2): And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a twig shall grow forth out of his roots. And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
Jesse, he and they say, actually refers to Ishmael (the father of the Arabs and thus an ancestor of Muhammad). Many Muslim sites repeat this, including Islamawareness. How they arrive at this conclusion is interesting, to say the least....
To understand this prophesy we need to study the verses carefully. These verses tell us that the rod (branch) which shall grow out of the stem (trunk) of "Jesse" shall be filled by God with wisdom, understanding, council, might, knowledge, and the fear of God. In other words, he shall be a statesman, a prophet and a judge. The obvious question that springs to mind is: Who was "Jesse"? In the Encyclopedia Biblica we read that Jesse is a contraction of Ishmael, or: "Jesse, for Ishmael… The changes which proper names undergo in the mouths of small children account for a large number of these particular abbreviations - who could guess, to take modern examples, that Bob and Dick arose out of Robert and Richard? … such forms as in ai were particularly common in later times … and many more in the Talmud, which also exhibits various other kinds of abbreviation"
Encyclopaedia Biblica, Rev. T. K. Cheyne D.Litt D.D., J. Sutherland Black M.A. LL.D., Vol. 3, under "Names," p. 3292, item 52 The implication that a descendant of Ishmael would be a major prophet is unacceptable to those Christians who oppose Islam, since the only person to fulfil this description is the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. This may explain why Bible scholars assert that the text is referring here to the father of King David (Matthew 1:6). But how likely is it, when describing the pedigree of a man, that reference should be made to an almost unknown person in his family tree (Jesse the father of King David) in preference to a man whose fame has spread across the nations of the earth (Ishmael, the son of Abraham)? It is much more likely that the Jesse of Isaiah 11:10 is Ishmael the son of Abraham, the father of the Arabs, the ancestor of prophet Muhammad.

Firstly, just as a matter of passing interest (to me) but given Muslims' feelings towards the  Bahá'í Faith  perhaps more relevant to them, it  should be noted that Cheyne converted to the Bahá'íst Faith towards the end of his life. It is not surprising therefore to find some of his interpretations supporting Mohammad as a prophet foretold in the Bible (and his wish to belittle the importance of the line of David, since Baha'ists consider David a minor prophet). I certainly admit the Enc Bib is authoritative, but Cheyne's theories regarding names has been thoroughly discredited as far as I can make out.
"The ingenuity of Cheyne's method may be admitted; but the thesis must be rejected as altogether arbitrary. That it has received serious attention is owing solely to the great service rendered by its sponsor in other departments of Old Testament research.
Cheyne frequently mentions this theory in his Encyclopaedia articles, often appending his view to articles written by people with more mainstream interpretations. He does, however, detail the alternative (and therefore mainstream) views, while doing so. Hence the articles are respected, as long as Cheyne's theory about these names is ignored."
In any case, the Muslim determination to see the shoot of root of Jesse as reference to Mohammad completely fails, as I have pointed out before regarding Deuteronomy, to take into account the context of the rest of Isaiah 11.10. This chapter and the following one are obviously referring to a future glorious end-time when peace rules the Earth and the Jews' political torment is finished (seen any lions eating straw or children playing with snakes recently? do you think knowledge and wisdom cover the Earth since the arrival of Mohammad? and what about the Lord recovering His people from Egypt? or "assembling the dispersed of Israel"?) Still not convinced? Let's look at the next chapter, which as you know is simply a continuation as to what is going to happen when the shoot out of the root of Jesse makes his appearance: 4 And in that day shall ye say: 'Give thanks unto the LORD, proclaim His name, declare His doings among the peoples, make mention that His name is exalted.5 Sing unto the LORD; for He hath done gloriously; this is made known in all the earth.6 Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.' Sure, take one verse completely out of context if you wish, ignore the obvious references to the Jewish people, retro-fit names and nick-names - but please don't expect anyone else to swallow it all. Finally do they really consider the father of the most important king Israel ever had, to be "almost unknown"? Given the obsession with genealogy***  in the Bible do Muslims really think that fair comment? (Note also the irony of your expecting people to accept the genealogical link between Mary and Aaron despite the thousands of years between them, whilst discounting the relationship between a father and son as unimportant!)
To summarise then: we have the Judeo-Christian Biblical tradition established for millennia which maintains that a direct descendant of King David will be the Messiah. We have Jesse whom no one can dispute is the father of King David.  And we have a verse which states a great prophet will be "a shoot out of the root of Jesse". The verses referring to the root of Jesse also include numerous references to Israel and the Jewish nation. And Muslims maintain this verse, by a strange contraction of the name (why use such a bizarre contraction in a prophesy anyway?) using a discredited method of a follower of the Bahá'í Faith from a century ago, refers to Mohammad.
How can people believe this utter nonsense?

******According to Genesis 46:12 and Ruth 4:18–22, David is the eleventh generation from Judah, the fourth son of the patriarch Jacob (Israel). The genealogical line runs as follows: (1) Judah → (2) Pharez → (3) Hezron → (4) Ram → (5) Amminadab → (6) Nahshon → (7) Salmon → (8) Boaz (the husband of Ruth) → (9) Obed → (10) Jesse → (11) David

Mirza and a Slap in the Face of Ahmadiyya: Pigott Affair

I want to share this with you, that was written by brother Tahir Hussain over at The Cult Blog some time last year. It is a killer blow to the dead beat and deceitful theology of the Ahmadiyya. Shortly after Ahmadiyya Awareness sites started discussing the Pigott Saga, the Ahmadiyya went into overdrive, trying to defend their false Prophet, namely on Rah-E-Huda. Even their most senior Murabbi, Maulana Ataul Mujib Rashid, was left speechless and was unable to offer any real explanation. I would ask all questioning Ahmadis to take out 5 minutes of your time to give this a read. It really shows just what kind of madman Mirza Ghulam Qadiani was, issuing death prophecies willy nilly and when they failed him, his community would come up with some half baked excuses to defend their Indian Messiah. Jheez Ahmadiyyat is so complicated! Drop the complications and come to Islam!
John Huge Smyth Pigott by Tahir Hussain:
In September 1902 a man by the name of John Hugh Smyth-Pigott of the Agapemonites made claim to be God incarnate coinciding with his proclamation that he was the Second Coming of the Messiah on Earth. Upon hearing this claim Mirza Ghulam Ahmad informed J.H. Smyth-Pigott of his impending doom within his lifetime if he persists in his claim that he is God and does not repent i.e. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad would live to see the death of J.H. Smyth-Pigott of the Agapemonites or Pigott would repent during his lifetime.

Agapemonites, translated as “Adobe of Love” in Greek, was a Christian religious sect existing from 1846-1956 established in Somerset, England. The Agapemonites or Community of The Son of Man were founded by Henry James Prince (1811-1899), who broke away from the Church of England in claiming that the Holy Ghost had taken up residence in his body. He ironically claimed to be immortal but died in 1899 and was succeeded by John Hugh Smyth-Pigott, he too claimed immortality and after his death the cult went into decline until the last member died in 1956.

The Agapemonites beliefs centred around eccentric views on marriage, the Messiah, immortality and the role of women. On September 7th 1902, John Hugh Smyth-Pigott, born 1852, proclaimed that he was the Second Coming of the Messiah and that he was “God not man” and stated “God is no longer there” pointing upwards, “but here” pointing to himself, thus sparking riots in the streets of London as several thousand people mocked the congregation and chased him to shouts of ‘hypocrite’ as he resorted to police protection to resist the attacks. Consequently, J.H. Smyth-Pigott relocated to Somerset where he continued his movement centred around power, sex, money and womanising by demanding a chain of brides, allegedly seven a week, whom he named ‘soul brides’, later investigations showed that these ‘soul brides’ were not only spiritual but physical too, and some produced illegitimate children. He was defrocked by the Church of England under the Clergy Discipline Act on a charge of immorality as a result of his illicit affairs to which his reaction was “I am God. It does not matter what they do”. He died at the age of seventy-five from influenza and was succeeded by Douglas Hamilton who did not have the youth or the charisma to enable the movement to grow. The movement itself gradually ceased to exist due to the boast of immortality of its leaders who then passed away negating the belief of their alleged undying life.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad came to know of the claim put forward by J.H. Smyth-Pigott and in response, a disciple of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, Mufti Muhammad Sadiq, wrote in English for Mirza Ghulam Ahmad a letter to be circulated in England directed towards J.H. Smyth-Pigott. The letter/leaflet was entitled ‘A Warning To A Pretender To Divinity’.
“J.H. Smyth Pigott, Pastor of… London, has recently announced himself as God… on the 7th and 14th of September 1902… God has, therefore, commanded me to warn him… I, therefore, warn him through this notice that if he does not repent of this irreverent claim, he shall be soon annihilated, even in my life-time… God has borne witness to my truth with heavenly signs shown in thousands… The death of Mr. Pigott within my life-time shall be another sign of my truth. If I die before Mr. Pigott, I am not the true Messiah nor am I from God… God shall bring the false Messiah to destruction within the life-time of the true one… 24th November 1902.” (A Warning To A Pretender To Divinity)
The above letter cannot be found on the official website and even Ahmadiyya lists, compiled to detail the works of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, fail to mention this letter/leaflet presented above. It is unsurprisingly unknown, unlisted and unavailable in order to suppress the failed prophecy contained within it. Why would they hide the works of their Prophet/Mahdi/Messiah? Why would they hide the alleged words of God contained within this ‘prophecy’? This material has been hidden from followers of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad for obvious reasons, however thorough research will always lead one toward the truth and as much as the Ahmadiyya community have tried to suppress this subject, scatters of remnants can be found on the official website which eventually echoes the reality of this prophecy. The first indication outside of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad himself comes from his second successor and son, Mirza Bashir Mahmud Ahmad.
“Hazrat Mirza Sahib… issued another leaflet sometime in 1903. This leaflet was called Prophecies about Dowie and Piggott. Piggott was a pretender in England… he prayed: ‘God, ordain that the falsehood of Piggott and Dowie may soon become patent to people.’ This leaflet also was published in the West on a very large scale. Newspapers in Europe and America commented upon it. The Glasgow Herald in Britain and the New York Commercial Advertiser in America published summaries of it. Millions of persons came to know of it.” (An Invitation To Ahmadiyya – Argument 10 – Prophecies)
The rest of the section, in his book, ‘An Invitation To Ahmadiyya’, fails to mention J.H. Smyth-Pigott again but continues focusing on Alexander Dowie. However, Mirza Bashir Mahmud Ahmad mentions that the prophecy has been published in newspapers throughout Europe and America. The monthly eGazette on the official website gives yet more details on this subject and notice how this edition which utilises a newspaper article from 1907 only concentrates on Alexander Dowie and does not mention J.H. Smyth-Pigott in the slightest.
“What Did USA Newspapers Say About Alexander Dowie? The Sunday Herald, Boston, June 23, 1907 wrote, “Great is Mirza Ghulam Ahmad the Messiah Foretold Pathetic End of Dowie.” (April 2009 eGazette)
The April 2009 edition of the monthly eGazette magazine shows an image of an article entitled ‘Great Is Mirza Ghulam Ahmad The Messiah’ said to be contained in the Sunday Herald, Boston dated June 23rd 1907. You can’t help but notice that that image of the newspaper on the April issue of the official monthly eGazette (above) magazine is hard to read, more importantly, why have they completely ignored the prophecy concerning John Hugh Smyth-Pigott contained within it? The quote below taken from the newspaper article is in essence from the letter entitled ‘A Warning To A Pretender To Divinity’. The full image is given below and then a close up to verify the quote concerning J.H. Smyth-Pigott is given which reflects the letter entitled ‘A Warning To A Pretender To Divinity’.
“Great Is Mirza Ghulam Ahmad” (The Sunday Herald, Boston, June 23 1907)

Below is a close up of the first column, specifically the bottom left hand paragraph:
“A sign of the evidence of God in my favor will appear on the death of Mr. Pigott, the arrogant pretender to divinity, who shall be brought to destruction within my lifetime…” (The Sunday Herald, Boston, June 23 1907)
Let there be no doubt that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad has prophesised that John Hugh Smyth-Pigott would die within his lifetime. In particular note the fact that he said “If I die before Mr. Pigott, I am not the true Messiah nor am I from God”. Below is verification of the date Mirza Ghulam Ahmad died.
“…died at Lahore on May 26th 1908” (Tadhkirah 2006 Version- Pg5)
Below is confirmation of the death of John Hugh Smyth-Pigott:
“After Smyth-Pigott died in 1927, the community went into gradual decline…” (The Telegraph – The Chapel Of Unrest)

In Conclusion
Recall the words of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in relation to J.H. Smyth-Pigott, “…he shall be soon annihilated, even in my life-time… The death of Mr. Pigott within my life-time shall be another sign of my truth. If I die before Mr. Pigott, I am not the true Messiah nor am I from God…” What more evidence can one ask to establish the falsehood of this charlatan? Mirza Ghulam Ahmad died in the year 1908, 18 years, 9 months and 24 days before J.H. Smyth-Pigott, are you then surprised that this information is concealed from naive followers of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad? In his own words he states that should he die before the pretender J.H. Smyth-Pigott then he is not the true Messiah nor is he from God. History testifies that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad died more than 18 years before J.H. Smyth-Pigott and therefore his prophecy failed and consequently it proves that he was not from God. These were his conditions, his words and those of his God, not mine or those of any other individual.

This obviously creates a dilemma for his followers, and anyone who has come across previous failed prophecies with identical premises will already know the defence they would put up. The claim would be that J.H. Smyth-Pigott secretly repented within his heart and therefore the prophecy came true. However, this is far from the truth as a year after the death of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad who died in 1908, J.H. Smyth-Pigott was defrocked by the Church of England in 1909 on a charge of immorality to which his reaction was “I am God. It does not matter what they do”. Does this sound like he repented or intended to repent? In addition to this the followers of J.H. Smyth-Pigott proclaimed upon his death that their ‘Messiah’ lives for evermore as shown in the Australian newspaper, Argus and the statement from his granddaughter that his grave was left open because they expected him to rise. If this is not enough then refer to the quote below by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad that J.H. Smyth-Pigott will not repent.
“The Promised Messiah prayed about Piggott (a Priest of London who had claimed to be God) and saw in a dream some books on which was written three times: Holy, Holy, Holy; and then received a revelation (Arabic): Allah is Severe in retribution. They are not acting righteously. The Promised Messiah explained this as meaning that Piggott was in a bad way and would not repent and would not believe in God. There is also the indication that his claiming to be God is an evil thing and that he will be afflicted with God’s chastisement. It is a very daring thing to claim to be God (Badr Vol. I Nos. 5 and 6, Nov.8 and Dec. 5, 1902 p. 4).” (Tadhkirah 2006 Version – Page 531)
Note: This link is for the 2009 version of Tadhkirah
In his own words, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad has stated that J.H. Smyth-Pigott “would not repent and would not believe in God”. The smoke-screen cop out prophecy claim that he repented has no basis and no evidence supporting it. On the other hand, there exists unambiguous evidence that J.H. Smyth-Pigott did not repent and continued acting upon his absurd beliefs till the day he died. The first indication is from his followers who reacted as follows upon his death:
“March 21 (1927) The Rev T.H. Smyth-Pigott has died at the Spaxton Agapemone from influenza, and will be buried in the grounds where the founder, “Brother” Prince, was interred. The inmates refuse to admit the death as they profess to believe that their “Messiah” lives for evermore.” (The Argus – Abode Of Love – Agapemone Leader Dead)
The following is an interview with Kate Barlow, the granddaughter of Pigott, about her book “The Abode of Love”. After After 42 minutes, Kate Barlow says:
It all went downhill once my grandfather died. It was such a shock, I know it sounds ridiculous, but they left the grave open because they thought he’d come back.
(Thanks to Brother Fuad for the above link).
Quite clearly there is no indication of any repentance according to his followers. However, the Ahmadis have a tendency to use the secret repentance within the heart escape clause. This however is refuted by the official Ahmadiyya website itself (the irony) as Mubasher Ahmad writes the following regarding J.H. Smyth-Pigott:
“…the Church of England took stern action against him, and he was defrocked and thus utterly humiliated. But Smyth-Pigott persisted in his arrogance and announced: ‘I am God. It does not matter what they do.’” (Approaching The West – Page 16)
Clearly his response to being defrocked was ‘I am God. It does not matter what they do’. Below is an article from the broadsheet newspaper ‘The Independent’ which verifies that J.H Smyth-Pigott was defrocked in 1909, a year after the death of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.
“….the Rev John Hugh Smyth-Pigott succeeded him, was defrocked in 1909, but lived on at Agapemone until 1927.” (The Independent – Online)
And finally, further verification that in 1909 upon being defrocked, this was indeed his reaction:

“The response of the Church of England was to defrock Smyth-Pigott, but his reaction was: ‘I am God. It does not matter what they do’.” (The Abode of Love)

Therefore it has been conclusively proven that J.H. Smyth-Pigott did not repent and continued claiming he was God after the death of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. The fundamental nature of this prophecy was outliving J.H. Smyth-Pigott in order to prove his truthfulness to the world. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad himself stated that J.H. Smyth-Pigott would be brought to destruction within his lifetime and therefore he would outlive him. Do not forget the words of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in that should this not happen then he is not the Messiah nor is he from God. The fact remains that J.H. Smyth Pigott outlived Mirza Ghulam Ahmad by an astounding 18 years, 9 months and 24 days and at no point did he repent for his boast. For all the efforts of the Ahmadiyya movement to hide this information, truth remains and falsehood perishes for by its nature, falsehood is bound to perish.
All Praise Is Due To Allah (SWT).
I would like to thank Fuad Al-Attar, Akber Chaudry and Shahid Kamal for exposing this prophecy in the first instance. May Allah (SWT) reward them immensely and grant them Barakah for all their time and efforts in defending Islam.

A Response To A Former Reader's Question About BWE And Mass Movements

A former blog reader recently asked me the following question. Since it's an important question that I've seen come up in more than a few discussions, I decided to post my response here.

QUESTION: Why aren’t BWE bloggers interested in creating a mass movement with thousands of women marching in the streets?

Speaking for myself only (other BWE bloggers’ mileage may and probably does vary):

My Reason #1-Because in 21st century America, those sorts of activities tend to reflect extreme powerlessness. They also tend to keep AA women powerless in the long run. At this point in time, it’s become a trickbag that diverts AA women from strategies that would make a lasting difference in their lives.

AA women put on their marching shoes, and then come back to the same inadequate life circumstances they had before they went to the march. They come back from the march as unsupported and unprotected as they were before. Marching becomes a substitute for finding and making personal connections to people who will actually support and protect their interests. Marching becomes a substitute for discarding the self-limiting beliefs and practices that keep AA women tethered to unsupportive people and places.

In this era, real and enduring progress―the type of progress that changes an individual’s or group’s life circumstances―tends to be quiet. And operates by stealth. Behind the scenes. Without fanfare. Usually as the cumulative result of many individual choices.

I think some of the most important questions that modern-day AA women need to ponder are:

How is it that AAs are still stuck in the weak position of having to do protest marches while other nonwhites in the US are increasingly able to wield White privilege?

How did these people go from being supposedly stuck in oppression alongside us to being positioned over us? How did THAT happen?

Any AA woman who's doesn’t want to be permanently stuck in reenacting 1950s Selma, Alabama protest marches needs to take a close look at how large numbers of other women individually got themselves (and their children) in a position to access large portions of White privilege. I’ve watched many AA women get angry with the Common Sense blogger Evia because she did some podcasts about how her husband’s White privilege benefits her. That’s a silly reaction. A silly reaction that other women of color (including many non-AA Black women) don’t share. They’re too busy acting in their own best interests.

Let’s look at a few examples from current events, starting with the slaying of Trayvon Martin. How did it come to be that Latinos…a group of people that our African-American(AA) misleaders have told AAs are our so-called allies… in a “Rainbow Coalition”…became considered “White enough” to wield White privilege?

What long-term process made it possible for the very mestizo-looking George Zimmerman to be treated with White-privilege-based deference by local law enforcement?

Mr. Zimmerman is not the only example of how other so-called “people of color” have positioned themselves to access White privilege. He’s just the latest example (and one that happens to not even be a police officer). Going back at least to the 1980s, there have been cases of “White” Latino police officers shooting unarmed Blacks.

The calm aftermath of the Virginia Tech massacre is another example of how AAs’ so-called “people of color,” so-called “allies” have positioned themselves to access White privilege.

In the aftermath of that massacre, I was amazed (and pleasantly surprised) to see that there wasn’t a pogrom of sorts against Asian students on American campuses. This didn’t happen because Asians have become considered “White enough” to wield White privilege. One aspect of White privilege is that dysfunctional, destructive Whites are looked upon as aberrant individuals. Not people who are representative of their entire group.

The Korean male Virginia Tech mass murderer was considered to be ONE deranged individual. His atrocity was not held against all Asians in general or all Asian college students in the US. Other Asians in the US didn’t suffer any consequences because of what he did. That’s a big difference from what most likely would’ve happened if an immigrant Muslim student or AA student had killed over 30 people on a White campus. How did Asians become “White enough” in America that one of them could commit an atrocity of this magnitude without creating a backlash against the rest of them?

Here’s how Asians and Latinos became “White enough” to wield large pieces of White privilege: While AAs have remained frozen in time reenacting Deep South protest marches from almost FIFTY years ago, Asians and Latinos have spent those same fifty years making personal inroads and connections to White America. A large chunk of these inroads were created through the cumulative effect of Latina and Asian women’s marriages to White men. The so-called “White” Mr. Zimmerman (who has been able to wield White privilege) is the product of a Latina woman’s marriage to a WM.

For reasons that I've discusssed at length in other posts, I don't expect White Americans to start viewing AAs as "White enough" in the same way many of them apparently perceive Asians and Latinos. Nevertheless, AA women don't have to remain permanently frozen in 1950s Selma, Alabama. There are ways for AA women to use the "female card" in order to access some of the benefits of White privilege. More AA women can do what other women of color (including non-AA Black women) have done to access these benefits.

Latinos, Asians and other non-AAs rode the coattails of the AA civil rights movement and AA civil rights martyrs. After AAs knocked down the barriers, these other people rushed into White work and other settings that had previously been closed to many of them. But unlike so many AA women, once these other nonwhites got through the door, they took the time to effectively mingle with Whites. That’s a large part of why fifty years later, the AA masses are still on the outside looking in―and having protest marches―while other nonwhites have MOVED ON into enjoying the privileges of the majority-White mainstream.

Any AA woman who wants to live well will have to make personal inroads and connections to the outer, mainstream world. And get back in touch with the normal, human practice of forming families. Families bound together by marriage. Stable immediate and extended family ties are the best and most enduring support network for women and children.

Why is marriage important? A few years ago, another blogger made an extremely insightful comment about this. In response to a guest post at What About Our Daughters, the regular blog host said the following:

I'm supporting Single Mothers TOO... by giving them permission to feel ENTITLED to a co-parent. We aren't doing single mothers any favors by reinforcing the idea that it is normal or acceptable to be forced to raise a child on our own. Black women are NOT superwomen.

I feel like I am in Episode of Star Wars where Senator Palpatine has convinced everyone that he has their best interests at hears and is "looking out for them" when in fact he's manipulating them for their own purposes.

All medicine doesn't taste good and a whole lot of things that "go down easy" are horrible for your health.

Sure it feels GREAT to have a slick PR campaign called "Raising Him Alone", but you're gonna end up with a cavity.

When we've gotten a OOW birthrate of 98% where exactly will these "families" making up the village be?

MARRIAGE is the tie that binds families together. Many of you are relying on families being held together by a marriage that occurred 3 generations ago. What about 3 generations from now?

This all feels great NOW, but look down the road three generations later. You're depleting the "village." There are going to be entire SWATHS of society where there won't be an adult male in sight because everybody's Raising Him Alone.

If the village was a forest and families were trees, what are y'all going to do when you get through chopping all the trees in HALF? You're wearing the HELL out of "the Village." If the Village were a spotted owl, environmental activists would be chaining themselves to trees right about now. The beloved "Village" is about to become an endangered species. The "village" doesn't crop up by osmosis.

I support single mothers. I support single mothers by telling them to REJECT this propaganda that Black women aren't entitled to HELP- from the father's of their children, not some "village" she had to cobble together.

Everybody wants to talk about the village, but nobody wants to maintain the Village. Nobody wants to pay property taxes in the Village. Nobody wants to do strategic planning for the Village. Everybody LOVES the village, but don't want any ordinances in the Village. They don't want any zoning in "the Village." The don't want the Village to have a homeowners association that enforces "The Village"'s rules and regulations. They don't want police to patrol the Village or enforce the laws of the village or throw those who commit violence against the Village in jail.

You take for granted that "the Village" will always be intact. When in fact MY GENERATION is living in the Village our Great Grand Parents and Grand Parents built and we're unwilling to make any investments in the infrastructure of the village.

One day, this all important "Village" will collapse on itself and the people who will pay the HEAVIEST price will be the people who rely on the "Village" the most.

Yeah, it take a "village" unfortunately there won't be a village in about three generations, why? because three generations of Black children won't know how to build a freaking Village. We have a Village because somebody fought to create maintain and preserve it. They were so good at constructing the village that despite our best efforts to burn it to the ground, the Village has some ever dwindling huts intact. They really knew how to build things back in the day. They built their village with STONE. We're building our modern village with particle board.

Ironically, I don't need "the village" (I have a tribe called a FAMILY) yet I appear to be the most concerned about it.

The blog host was absolutely correct in the common sense observation that marriage is the tie that binds families together; and why it matters. I couldn’t have said it any better myself.

My Reason #2-Not every problem or issue can be solved with protest marches or protest organizations. What’s the saying? When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. Furthermore, I believe AAs have a tendency to turn various activities into cargo cults. Voting is one example of this. Protest marches and protest organizations are other examples.

AAs have made the idea of voting an object of unreasonably excessive reverence. Many of us are as deluded as the Iraqis proudly holding up their purple fingers after voting under an occupation-imposed puppet government. Their purple-stained fingers did not magically convert occupied Iraq into a functioning democracy. Iraq still is not a functioning democracy. Millions of people around the planet have voted while still living under the heels of brutal tyrants.

Much more than simply voting is required in order to have a functioning democracy. A functioning democracy needs to have a combination of practices in place. These practices are often referred to as "the rule of law."

Some concepts associated with "the rule of law" include: The principle that governmental authority is exercised only in accordance with written, publicly disclosed laws. The principle that these laws are adopted and enforced in accordance with established procedural steps. The idea that everyone is equal before the law. The idea that nobody is above the law. The idea that people who have been arrested have the right to be told what crimes they are accused of, and to request that their custody be reviewed by independent, judicial authority.

Keep in mind that none of this guarantees that the laws will be just. This only guarantees that there will be a PROCESS other than following the whims of a tyrant, or following mob rule. Having a process is extremely important. Having a real process in place makes it possible for people to work toward having just laws.

In a similar way, AAs have made the idea of protesting an object of excessive reverence. Since most of us don’t bother to study our own history, we don’t understand the unromantic ingredients that helped make the civil rights movement successful. Most of us have no idea about the huge role the Cold War played in the movement’s success.

To put it plainly, Uncle Sam was locked in a serious competition with his European cousin Soviet Ivan. By the 1950s, both of them were competing for influence among the newly-independent nations of the third world. Uncle Sam was deeply afraid that large portions of the planet might join an alliance with Soviet Ivan. Every time photos and news film leaked out of Uncle Sam mistreating his disenfranchised AA citizens, Soviet Ivan would publicize this to people in third world countries. Soviet Ivan would say, “Look at how racist Uncle Sam is! Look at how badly he treats his own Black citizens! That’s how Uncle Sam will treat you if you join his alliance.”

And so, Uncle Sam felt some external pressure to make concessions to the civil right movement because failure to do so was seriously undermining his foreign policy goals. During the Cold War, Uncle Sam had pragmatic reasons to care about how foreigners felt about him. Uncle Sam only cared because he had a serious, equally armed enemy who was courting these foreigners.

The Soviet Union collapsed just over twenty years ago. There’s no Cold War. Uncle Sam has no reason to care about how he or his actions look to anybody. The protest marches that worked in the earlier context of the Cold War generally aren’t effective anymore.

My Reason #3-In the AA “programmed slave” context, securing abundant life has to be an individual, self-directed process for most AA women. For the reasons that I mentioned in another recent post, mass cooperation among large numbers of AA women is simply not possible. It’s certainly not sustainable.

Please understand that the vast majority of African-Americans (AAs) are incapable of giving reciprocal support to any Black person or Black-led movement that supports them. It’s very similar to Black consumer dynamics. The vast majority of Black consumers are incapable of responding appropriately to any Black-owned business.

Here’s why: Because most AAs have deeply embedded slave programming on top of the everyday collection of human frailties shared by all humans. Most AAs have been successfully programmed to sabotage anything that could possibly enhance or save their lives. Most AAs will take any and everything and twist it around into something destructive. AAs take new ideas and superimpose their same old, dysfunctional thought patterns onto the new idea. In the end, the new idea become merely a new slogan that’s used to justify the same old dysfunctional behavior.

This is why AAs have turned every past solution into a new catastrophe. There are almost endless examples of this. We collectively did the “bait and switch” with many past solutions. We took desegregation and turned it into a pretext for engaging in a permanent, undeclared boycott against all Black-owned businesses (with the partial and dwindling exception of barbershops and hair salons).

We took the language of multiculturalism and turned it into a pretext for maintaining our racial self-hatred and internal colorism.

Even among healthy people, creating a protest movement or organization automatically creates unnecessary hierarchy. Which creates unnecessary conflict because various individuals will compete for various offices within the movement/organization. Factions will form around each candidate for each office. Various individuals with differing visions will fight over the charter or rules for the organization. Factions will form around each proposed rule. These conflicts are multiplied by a factor of 50 if there’s money involved (fundraising, salaried positions, expense accounts, etc.).

Among AAs, the only structure that avoids most of this type of conflict is the permanent “one person show” such as Rev. Jackson’s or Rev. Sharpton’s organizations. But that’s exchanging one set of organizational problems for another (everything dependent on one “big boss”).

The massive amount of energy AA women participants would need to invest in struggling to keep any AA protest movement moving in a productive direction would be better spent in feathering their own individual nests. As I noted during the final post at Sojourner’s Passport blog, each individual AA woman’s personal victory creates powerful ripple effects that spread success outward.

As I said at the beginning, these are just my thoughts in response to the reader’s question. Other BWE bloggers’ mileage may (and probably does) vary.

And with that, I'm going back to enjoying my online silence and retirement from blogging! LOL!

The Sunday Scandal Session 15: Wife Threatened for a Visa

I don't have the time for much today so I am just going to leave you with a nice easy writ on a Ahmadiyya Cult document I found some while back now.

Today Dr Shabir Bhatti, one of our favorite Cult Controllers, is in  the spotlight once again. I love this guy, I think he alone shows us all the true colours of this Cult more than any of his co-cult workers. Keep doing what you are doing Shabby are doing your Jamaat a great service!! Showing them in a very good light!! It also involves Dr Vali Shah, the Ahmadi dentist/former Ameer of the UK from Putney.

Please find below 2 documents, one from Vali Shah to Shabir Bhatti and one from Shabir Bhatti to Rafiq Hayat. I am blocking out the names of all parties involved, to protect their privacy and their identity.

Have a read (click on the images to enlarge):

You don't need any explanation because it is very clear what went on here. There was a dispute between a man and wife, the man wanted residency, the wife didn't want him in her life and refused to cooperate so that he could get residency in the EU. Why should she? They have kids together yeah, but there are other avenues he could have pursued and the wife should not have been blackmailed into helping him. The guy was a visa job from what I have gathered and treated the wife very badly. The Jamaat wanted to help him secure residency and so began to threaten the girl and her family with expulsion/boycotting if they refused to help the man get his visa. They were practically forcing the woman into endorsing the application and were threatening the wife and her parents to get them to comply. They were attempting to blackmail the family with threarts of disciplinary action, blaming them for the marriage falling apart and then blaming them for the daughter not assisting the husband in his residency application. The Jamaat defended his violent behaviour by saying it was because the family made him feel 'small' and it is pretty obvious whose side the Cult is on- the twice detained husband! Oh so thats OK then is it? If a woman earns more than her husband and occasionally drops a few lines about it, its OK lash out and to wind up in jail is it?

I am sorry but as a woman, I have every right to expect my husband to be my provider and protector and no woman should settle for any less. I am not saying a woman should make her husband feel small, but even so, his violent outbursts are not excusable and should have been condemned by the Jamaat leaders but instead, they sympathised with the guy. They wanted to bring discplinary action against her because she refused to endorse the visa application of a man she wanted to divorce? Displinary action usually involves ex-communication and this can have devastating consequences on all those involved. To threaten a single mother and her elderly parents with this is downright dispicable. What a CULT and this proves what many people have said all along and that is the Ahmadiyya Association UK readily and actively encourages their people to apply for application here. This is so they can they take their cut out of the 6.5% membership fees that are compulsory on ALL Ahmadis, even those on state benefits.

So I ask those reading to really consider what sort of people we are dealing with here. This is a Cult that forces women to cover, that mistreats women and threatens women if they don't comply with the wishes of man. Women are vulnerable in this sexist Cult and and this is not Islamic. They can't marry out for fear of the consequences but when they marry within their community, they are subjected to this sort of treatment. Terrible situation for Ahmadi women.

Galloway DID target the Muslim vote - here's the proof!

I've been accused over at London Muslim blog of lying when I said the Galloway targeted the Muslim vote.
Apparently he never said anything about being a Muslim or not drinking.
Just for the record then...
